I was thinking exactly the same thing...can only listen to so many "new" songs about trucks, beer, torn jeans and muscadine wine.
Check out "Pacific Dub" they are a group from Cali, the guitar player is a friend of mine and they play great ska. Fun Fact: The guitarist was also in the "Aerials" music video for SOAD.
I had all of these on my mind but by the end of the night I was getting a bit...forgetful. Great picks! BTW, I only disliked your one post b/c I despise that band.
I was 9 in 1992...you ol Fart. I've seen Tool twice, 2006 & 2017, amazing shows. Primus opened for them in 2017 and they are awesome live too. I enjoy music when they actually sound the same or better live, I hate this new wave of "enhanced" music where they "clean" the vocals and instruments, I want to hear the natural raw talent. I hate this new bro country trend and their "trucks". Maybe I'm starting to get old too.
Can't forget about Soundgarden, Cornell had an amazing voice. And the reason I started listening to punk
Holy memories Batman!! Candlebox, Live, REM, Blind Melon, Oasis, Rage, Collective Soul.... So many feels. Let us not forget the beautiful people.
