We were until you said that everyone should leave them alone because they believe what they are doing is ok.
Doing analysis was my life for over 20 years. Instead of claiming something, I'd rather know the facts. Although I didn't mention it earlier, there are a few of us that are messing with the #'s though. Us (probably 1% or less) who have over 7.25 acres per person in our households are making it more difficult for the rest of you to have enough land to meet the stats! hehehehe
I am dealing with the mindset of it all ... people will cry about anything .... but when a family is doing nothing wrong, legally or morally, why on earth do people want to knock them down? BJ ... do you have children?
Now there is the key. From BJ's perspective, what they are doing is morally wrong. Morals are a funny thing.
It's not the criticism the worries me, it's the statements about limiting someone else because the good choices they are making are not the good choices someone thinks they should be making.
What is an enigma to me is how any rational person can honestly believe that as parents they are able to give the same care and attention to 19 children as they would be able to give a reasonable number....say five children. And dont go giving me a comparison to some deadbeat that can or wont take care of one child. Lets compared just the Duggars....can they give as much individual attention to 19 children as five children? No way, there isn't enough hours in the day.
Morally wrong?? Like said before... The children are healthy and loved. They had 17 before the show and they were fine financially. If that's their choice, then so be it.
Dont laugh breeding parishioners is a common denominator in religions. So was breeding labor in Agrarian societies.
Probably not Hook..and that the point. On some level we all have to do what we think is best .... I am sure most of us can see a point of negative returns, so we shape our decisions based on what we feel is the best choice rather than what we may "want".
