Rick - That's some good news on the early find. Kudos for you in the first place for getting checked. Keep us updated with additional news and bow hunts.

Good luck with it all, thoughts are with you. My dad had prostate cancer a couple of years ago, it was further along than yours, had to have surgery and has been healthy ever since! You are in a great place with them finding it early. Stay positive. They have amazing technology and medicine these days!!!

Jeff, I had 18 inch's of mine removed in 99. Worst surgury I ever had. I had a bleeder that they had to go back in and fuse. Took 4 pints of blood. I had not given any of my own blood prior to that surgury so now I just keep my fingers crossed.
Thanks once again to all for the thoughts and prayers. You all are awesome. I mean that.

Prostatectomy is really the only "treatment" for prostate cancer.

Prostate cancer is not as serious as, say, pancreatic cancer, because, the prostate has slow metastasis charectoristics...It does not spread fast..

I wish you the best of luck, keep us posted !!

Rick I'm glad they caught it early, I can't ever imagine receiving a diagnosis like that, but I'll say a prayer for you. You will beat this. Treatment is very effective these days as I'm sure you know.
