I had a prostate biopsy performed a couple weeks ago. A follow up appointment was made for 2 weeks after. I couldn't keep that appointment so I rescheduled for Oct 29. The Dr called yesterday wanting to know if I missed the appointment or if I cancelled it. I told him I had to re-schedule. He told me the results were back and he wanted to talk to me and asked if he could do so then on the phone. I said this sounds ergent so go ahead. He said they took 14 biopsys and one showed cancer. He said we caught it very early and that was good but I needed to get in to discuss treatment options. Will try to re-schedule again for an earlier date at his request. I'm really not too worried as he painted a good picture being it was caught early. But then he said surgury would be a tough route because of the colon re-section I had and scare tissue would be an issue. So is it bad enough to warrant surgury? I don't know, I think he was just talking about all options. I guess I will find out more when I go in.

    Sorry to hear that. :(

Since it was caught early, your prognosis should be good.

Catching it early is a good thing, surgury is probably going to be the last option. I am glad they found it now man. your in my thoughts
