If you knew where you were going you wouldn't have needed a GPS in the first place . Just kidding, just kidding there boss. Hope they didn't mess up your dash. Back in the day I had a Cobra equipped Ford Falcon with a tachometer mounted to the dash when some thief tried to help himself. Destroyed the tac housing and did a lot of damage to the dash which at that time were metal dashboards. Car was unlocked so no window breakage.
That is THE #1 item thieves are stealing these days, easy pickins inside a car. Take them out of your car and inside your homes guys. Sorry to hear about this Justin.
I didn't have much trouble in C'ville 'cept for some kids that stole my ashtray for the change in it. Astray was worth more than the change. The neighbor caught some teens that were breaking into his truck. He was big scary dude and beat the tar out of them. Word got around and things got real quite crime wise around there. However, when I lived over on the southeast side of Elgin, you didn't even bother to lock the doors lest you like replacing windows. I had dash of my '79 Lincoln torn out for the stock radio and tape deck. (how much could that possibly be worth??) The tape player didn't even work anymore. Had my the faceplate and knobs off my radio in my Scout stolen but they couldn't get the radio itself. After that they quit trying for my radio but they went through my glove box fairly regularly. I was soooo tempted to set a 330 conibear in the front seat with a $20 bill on the trigger... Chain the trap to the truck and come out in the morning and beat whoever I caught within an inch of thier life. I could have probably caught a dozen thieves in a week. I hate thieves.
That sucks bro... But I've gotta say... I've been there... well... kind of anyway... They broke in but they didn't have time to take anything... But instead of the garbage bag over the window...I got creative... :d
It's the price us hard working, responsible technologically advanced people sometimes have to pay. Lazy azz people that don't feel like they have to work for their stuff when we'll do it for them, and they can just take whatever they want. Pizzes me off BIG TIME!
I'm right there with you, Justin. I've been broken into 4 times and they took the entire truck the last time. Cops found it a week later. . . I was using vice grips to start it for a month, afterward
That just sucks.. Glad no one got hurt over it. I had my home broke into a couple times when I was teaching on an Indian reservation. Not fun.
