Saw this little guy out at work today. I was within 15 yards. And it figures, I can't hunt out here.

I was surprised to see him hard horned. The last weekend I was out, they were all in velvet.

Post pictures of it if you can Tim. Hey guys also I saw a product I like on archery talk and ordered myself one. It is a spring loaded tree strap for using a climbing stand. I use a lifeline on my hang on but do a lot of climbing. This slides up the tree with you so you're protected the entire time using the climber. If anyone has interest in it that climbs just pm me. I don't want to step on any sponsor's toes as it is a private vendor by posting a link.

Here's the guy I have his past two years left side sheds from. Gives me hope he is still on the property although this is the only cam pic I have of him. I have to enlarge and brighten the image from my covert mp8. This was on 7/16 at 526pm so he wasn't fully grown obviously. [IMG] [IMG]

I'll have to get on the computer and look. Saturday will be my last hunt of the season. Marshall told me where he shot his deer and it's about an hour north of where I've been hunting. I don't think that I'll go that far.

As of now, my plan is to hunt in the area that I've been, probably coming in south of where I've been entering and hunting up from there. I've got screen shots of that I'll post when I'm on the computer

Welcome Scoot. I live a little east of you in Eureka. Spending the long week at our camping lot on the Bourbouse off Hwy 50.

Post up some trail cam pics if you get a chance!

At least you know he is around. Do you have any bedding ares on your property?

Yes several. It's basically a creekbed 200 yards wide a mile long but narrows to about 60 yards in some areas. Hunters on the other side of one property line and then it ends on the other with houses. I have his shed from past two years I believe. Well I know for sure last year's because I killed a 10 and found half a 10pt shed. I put down corn to inventory the smaller bucks and does but he didn't take to it.

It feels good. I figured out how to get to an area one of my co-workers had hunted in the past. I wanted to hunt there before, I could just never figure out how to get there. I'll get the wheeler loaded up and fueled tomorrow morning on the way out.
