I don't use a kisser. Frosty do what you can buddy to put something down.

I used a kisser when I got my bow, but I don't use one anymore.

I have found that to be pretty common for people to not have a kisser button just by looking at everyone else's bows hanging on the racks last night. It's just going to take some time for me to think about other anchor points vs me just putting the kisser in the corner of my lip and touching the string to my nose. I'll try it for a few weeks and see if I can get any consistency out of it.

I rub my chin with my thumb to make sure I'm in the same spot.

I've been sleeping during the day. Unfortunately, I'm only on day three of like 12 - 14. But we do usually talk hunting on the way home.

Curious question, when butchering your venison do you slice steaks into steak slices or do you leave it in a big chunk as it comes off the deer to be sliced up later?

My family has always left the steaks whole as they come off the deer. That way we can slice them and cook them how we want later.

My inlaws all think I'm the weird one because they slice the steak up right away.

I explained the reason why I like my way better but they still do it their way. I feel you can slice the steak better when it is partially frozen. You can slice it for steaks, stir fry, stroganoff, leave it whole for a roast, leave it whole and wrap it in bacon.... I also feel that leaving it whole creates less surface area susceptible to freezer burn (who leaves venison in the freezer that long though)

Curious to know what you guys do?

I had someone butcher my deer this year. I might go after it this next year. According to the "unofficial" score, we're still leading. Hopefully it sticks and we win this thing. Only 11 more days until we find out!

That's ok Tony. Too bad you couldn't be on a winning team.

I think we will be second place. The unofficial scorecard gave us credit for a buck from Team 15. We would have won but whitecotton03 on Team 20 shot a buck and doe on the same day way back in October and they only counted the doe because he hadn't uploaded the buck's score yet. That puts them over the top.

    Team 16 - 958.125
    Team 20 - 1023.75

Does anybody remember winning teams scores from years past? I swear one of my team had over 1100 point but we didn't win... I could be wrong but seems like scores are lower this year.

Yea it does seem that usually the top scores are a bit higher.
