My best one I cut it to be a triangle and then carved it out with a dremel to make it look like Swiss cheese then I put a mouse on the top of the cheese and named it rat race. I took like third that year and I think I got an award for coolest looking or something.

We've got a couple ideas to try. It's my first one in quite some time, and it won't be the last.

We couldn't find that open house today, so we're still looking. Our realtor will be back on Monday, so we'll sit down with her and the builder (her husband) and discuss what we're looking for and what he has drawn up, based on some plans that we gave them that we've found (either other builders or Pinterest).

That's cool Tim good luck. Justin's shot was a little rough and I've seen first hand how long a big deer can go with a single lung hit. With a heavy setup I'd take a facing me slight quartered shot over that walking away shot. He was definitely concerned when the buck made it to the fourth property and mentioned calling in a dog.
I believe I'll have a chance to hunt Monday afternoon. I just can't decide which area. One is near where I sat this morning and the other is 50 yards from where I shot my buck earlier this year. It's near where bucks like to bed and I can hope one moves before sundown. But the tree I like doesn't have too many shooting lanes but is at least concealed well in the late season.

Ok so our Christmas lunch got moved up from Tuesday to tomorrow. Unexpected but it is going to rain Tuesday and Wednesday. I think I will pull my climber before sunrise and then walk in the creek to the spot I shot my buck after I rinse off following our Christmas lunch.

I'm getting ready to plow the driveway and that's as about as close to the outdoors as I want to be right now

Man we haven't even gotten a dusting of snow yet here in Wisconsin and it's driving me insane that we don't have any ice. I bought my wife a new marcum lx6 and we won't get to use it until mid January now

I saw 3 does about 100 yards away. Unfortunately at 430 two dirtbikes rode through the woods. I've never seen that before and they came back at dark with some serious lights on those bikes. They stopped in the vicinity of a trail camera so I when they pulled off I shot over there to make sure they didn't steal it. I brought it out with me.

Good deal on not losing a cam. I can't stand people like that.

Ya I was thinking they noticed it and at least took the card. If I run into them they'll be words regardless.

Man I wish the scorecard would get updated. Last year I thought they did it every week. I have been tempted to sit down and figure it out myself. There are other teams beside the top three that we need to watch out for.

Ya I hear you Nate. I'm hoping Fitz finds time before Christmas. I'm also hoping some of our quieter teammates chime in.

That would be nice. I would love to go out and shoot a doe but I just don't need anymore meat since I shot that doe with my gun.

We raise our own meat and I put 25 chickens in my freezer this year, a half a pig and two deer. Plus we are butchering the bull after the holidays. I would have to buy another freezer lol. Not to mention I have like 60 unsold pheasants I need to do something with soon

Damn Nate that's alot of meat. I bought us a big stand up freezer this spring and it's very nice to have. But I don't ever plan on having or needing a second one. I won't be able to hunt until January and that will be buck only. Going to setup a cam near a big scrape and thicket today and while I'm on vacation maybe it will show a buck on a routine. Otherwise I'll just let whatever grow another year.
