Rough start so far. This favorable 10 mph wind is non existent. Completely calm 2 different does have sensed something is amiss and bolted.

Sometimes the edge of town is the best place to hunt. There is some land just south of my house that I have always wanted to bow hunt because I have seen deer multiple times duck hunting the creek that runs the town

 

We're headed to look at a model home this afternoon. Then we'll work on the pinewood derby car.

 

It's private land or I would hunt it, I see deer every year out there. The guys that own it hunt geese on that field for early goose season

Oh the fun of building a pinewood derby car. I remember building mine. I remember one trick to make it go faster was to sand off the little dimples on the sides of the tires. I don't know if they still have them on the tires or not. Graphite on the wheels and make it as aerodynamic as possible. I wonder if I still have mine

 

We got a Roku player for Christmas. We opened it early.

 

My dad had one that we could never beat. Modeled like a truck with a cover on the back for the weights.
