Sweet!! This last year was the first year that I had been able to fish for the first time and I got looking at buying boats as well but My dad told me that I can keep his boat at my house and use it all year because he has three of them and they all don't get used enough.

 

Well my hopes to get out and whack a doe this weekend didn't happen as I have been sick all weekend. This weekend is the big gun deer season so I will likely fill my doe tag up there but maybe a big buck will come through.

The land we hunt for gun deer season is some of our best land that doesn't get touched during bow season which is a little backwards if you ask me.

 

I saw a nice buck tending a doe this morning at 3am while I was driving for work.

Nice frog. Looks like it will be a busy week at work. I trimmed some good lanes yesterday. I will be using a different tree this fall as those poplars really grow. In just a year my climber will no longer fit the tree I killed deer in 3 straight sits last fall.
Anyone shooting the new bows anytime soon?

 

I got a text from one of the guys at my archery shop telling me the new Mathews are in but I don't know if I'm gonna pull the trigger on one.

That's cool. My go-to shop deals mathews hoyt and bowtech. In a few weeks ill go shoot whatever new left hand models they have. Realistically I can't buy a bow until I put a ring on it. Then she will buy me any new bow I want. That's the deal anyways.

 

I saw an ad for them they are sweet!!! I am thinking about getting a new one but there is other gear I need more for my elk hunt next fall

 

How close is everyone to wrapping up their seasons?

 

I go til Jan 15th. Still going try to stick another deer but they can be hard to come by after rifle season.

 

Keep it up guys, we are in first! And Dubbya's isn't entered yet so that will pad it a little. Now we just need a few does this late season!

One doe one buck. I have three doe tags left in Wisconsin. I will likely fill one with my gun this weekend though hopefully I see a big buck though instead so I still have that doe tag

 

My season ends Jan 3

 

Guys I think we're way ahead if dubbya isn't entered and I just noticed our score doesn't have my 118 buck in it either. Going to pm Fitz as it says was entered.
