I'm going to be out hunting again this weekend. I'm getting a little desperate because gun season is right around the corner to screw everything up. I'm not a huge fan of late season

 

Our gun season starts tomorrow and runs 9 days, it sucks it's right in the middle of the rut, can't get away from the orange army. And I just found out they let cattle go pasture in my aunts creek bottom for the year now so there goes that property. Boo

Gun season is the worst. I will be out there but the main reason I go is to hunt with my grandpa. There are so many people in the woods it generally isn't much fun. For the most part we avoid the hunters but every year somebody screws something up for us.

 

Sounds good guys. I'll be celebrating my girlfriends birthday tonight but will hunt tomorrow afternoon. The weather will finally break with this overnight front. It is currently 77 degrees.

Hey guys, hope everything is going well. I finally got a little tree time between clients and should have another 3 days. Had a 130-135" deer in range this evening but never offered a shot, lots of 2 & 3 year olds but nothing decent until this evening.. Back at it in the morning :D Here is the buck from tonight... Maybe he'll show up tomorrow

 

Just missed a little buck I think my arrow hit a twig on the way there.

Saw three deer after I missed this morning. Still in the tree going to go grouse hunting with my pooch after breakfast and swap out some cards on the trail cameras I have out and figure out what I am going to do for tonight.

Well, I've got the truck loaded up for my trip. I'll stay overnight with my wife's grandparents, breaking the trip up. They called my boss Thursday and he kept talking like I'm in. I'll know more on Thursday.

So I need some advice... That 10 point walked by again outta range so I hit the doe bleat and he walked in my direction but was in the thicket so I didn't have a shot would it be a safe bet that I didn't spook him too bad and I have a shot at him tomorrow
