Congrats frogtosser!!

 

Just got home from my anniversary getaway/Spartan race. We had a good time. I finished the 4.2 mile/13 obstacle course in 1:46:06. It was a blast, and I'm super sore. Depending on how my job future looks, my buddy and I are going to try and get the Trifecta next year.

Looks like I wasn't the only one to have a good weekend.

 

Glad you had a good weekend Tim. I've never done an obstacle race but it sounds intense.

It was a blast. The worst part was failing the last two obstacles.

Great job with the does guys! Frog you really drilled that girl, nice shot!! Sorry I have been away for so long my bow hunting days will soon start after this weekend. My wedding weekend has finally arrived! Will be out in the woods next week/weekend.

Had a really good shooting session after work and came home to my new muck boots on the front porch. I probably won't hunt until Monday with this warm spell we're going through right now. This morning on the acorn entrance road to work I saw a different buck with real tall tines and a big body that got me pretty fired up too.

 

It's been a rough day, we just had to put down our family dog, she was the best ever. I miss her already, today has been really rough. Don't mean to bring anyone down but I'm trying to work through it.

Thanks, she was only 9, I was hoping for a few more years with her. The house is gonna be quiet with out her around now.

Ya I hear you. When I was a teenager the oddest thing was not worrying about stepping in poop after bear passed. I will say a puppy cures all after due time..
