How was your Sunday guys? I had the best week for the fantasy football league we've got going in the shop. Now, I'm enjoying some relaxing time watching Big Hero 6 with the boys.

Had a good and bad weekend. Opening morning, Saturday, had a nice buck come in with a small buck and they caught me completely off guard. Couldn't even reach for my bow cause they were about 15 yards away facing me. I probally could have tried to grab it but it wasn't worth getting busted over. Than another nice buck showed up and stayed 30 yards out behind cover the whole time and I couldn't get a shot on him either. Had my heart pounding and super excited. They left than the idiot neighbor 2 doors down was at it again that night, Sunday morning and Sunday night driving his truck through the woods on the people between him and I property where there isn't even a trail, Running chainsaws, than decided to take his zero turn and ride through the woods BLADES RUNNING and lock the blades up about 6 or 7 times than left. Than came back with his golf cart and drove to our property where my 1.5 acre soybean and wheat plots at and drive through it. Than look all into my blind, get in it, than see me in the tree cause my arrows stuck out and talked to me. I got down and told him to get out of here and I don't want to see him again and that he just ruined my who weekend of hunting by trespassing onto my property and the property between him and I. I also told him I would greatly appreciate it if he be mindful of my hunting and try and respect that. He said ohhhh, my bad I didn't know hunting was that serious. I turn and said thanks I'm going inside now, bye and he got in and left. So that's how my weekend went.

Well that did have its ups and downs. At least you saw bucks and didn't get busted!
I've seen a 10 point two mornings(5am) in a row going driving the entrance road to work feeding on the acorns on the street. I need to move my cam around to see roughly where and when he comes back in the woods and maybe setup super early one morning and wait for him if its after shooting light.

Been super busy at work. Had a little doe walk right into our plant right at the end of the day.

I'm planning to hunt this afternoon. We're in the middle of a two stage 20 degree cold front with rain coming for the next 3-4 days. Unless steady rain starts earlier than expected, I will be setting up in the middle of an oak ridge.

Thanks guys. The cool front that moved in had them on their feet. I saw at least 10 does.

The forecast proved wrong and it rained all afternoon. With this hurricane coming up the coast I won't have a chance to hunt until this time next week. I did get a book from amazon called Finding Wounded Deer to read during the rainy weekend. Not to jinx myself or anything but figured it would have some valuable information more than the common sense I generally use.
