Thanks. The mucks do look pretty durable and have good reviews.

I've been wearing Mucks the last couple seasons. They're really comfortable and durable. Haven't had any issues with them.

Well season has opened here in Wisconsin! I have the itch to get out and I'm going to do my best to get out asap. Had a wedding this past weekend so it wasn't possible for me. Have my own wedding on Oct 10 then hope to lay one down soon there after :)

I've been hearing from my buddies that a lot of deer are moving early evening in Wisconsin

Yeah I know one person who has put a nice buck down already. We had a cold front last weekend so that probably really helped. It is warming up a bit again now. I have another wedding on Saturday that my fiancé is in and I may try to get out on Sunday

Western Wisconsin, Washburn, Chippewa, and Clark counties mainly. Mostly public land but we do have some private land that we can hunt as well.

My buddy has access to some private land and a cabin up by rice lake. I might go hunt there during the MN gun season in November to get away from the orange army

Nice rice lake is only 25 mins from me. About the half way point from our cabin in Washburn county to where we live in Chippewa County

Cool, I drive by that area every week for work, we thought about hunting there this last weekend because Minnesota opener is this weekend, my wife said if I left she'd change the locks on me. Guess I can't blame her since I won't be home for the next month and a half. Maybe it was when I told her I was only hunting 5 different states this year, she let out my leash too much lol

Looks like I'll be hunting all next week in Wisconsin instead of Colorado, hope to add an least 50 points for a doe in that time.

Got all my meat from the butcher today. Freezer looks pretty good. Anyone have any luck during the MO opener?

I didn't make it out. I'm going to try to go on an evening sit this weekend.

Not much luck, watched a very skittish orphan button buck for about 45mins and then got blowed out by a yearling doe 75yds from the house at the barn gate of all places, lol. Caught both of us by surprise at 40yds out in the open. Pulled camera cards as well, looks like our Sunday deer stand shenanigans didn't bother the big boys one bit. Hopefully we'll have vids up on the you tube channel over the next couple days.

Anybody else from Mo/Ks 20150915_181349.jpg have any luck?
