We have lived almost 2 years with it now. And its becoming more and more clear every week.... Ted Thompson made the right decision. Brett Favre is the greatest quarterback to ever play. That's a matter of opinion and my opinion on that matter will never change. He may win the MVP, and the Super Bowl this year and even come back for more next year. But Aaron Rodgers has already established himself as the next ELITE QB in the NFL, with Brees, Manning and Brady (Phillip Rivers nipping at their heals). Arod is on pace for 2 NFL records at this moment in his career (albiet quite early): - If he keeps his pace for 1 more season, he will be the #1 rated passer in NFL history above Steve Young - He is on pace to be the first QB to EVER pass for 4,000 yards back to back in his first 2 seasons as a starter What we have in Green Bay now is similiar to what 49ers fans went through in the 90's.... A HOF lock being replaced by "that new guy", who also ends up in the HOF. Mosty likely, in a few weeks, we will be able to see Rodgers perform in his first playoff game. If the football gods love us, we will eventually see him square off against Favre and the Vikings in what would be one of the most if not THE most hyped football games of all time. I cant wait. Love out for the week :D
see, and I thought this was gonna be a thread about how Ingram won the Heismann tonite and how colt deserved it more... ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!
