Enjoy the controversy now boys. In about two years the real OSU will be there. THE Ohio State University. Word has it, Columbus Police are already shutting down the tattoo parlors throughout the city just in case!

I think it really just came down to OSU losing to ISU. When you look at 2 one loss teams the first thing you look at is their loss. OSU lost to a .500 team. Bama lost to the only undefeated team left by 3 in overtime in a game that they should have won. Thats probably worth double whatever points OSU has. Then add in that they played in the toughest devision in college football and dominated everyone except LSU and you have your 2nd team.

I hate the system as much as the next guy and wish they go to a 12 team tourney and forget about all the bowls. Give the top 4 teams a bye and go for it. But OSU shot themselves in the foot by losing to a team they should have destroyed.

They've already played... LSU won the game. Sure they are probably the two best team but they've already played. Bama, get over it... You lost. Let LSU find someone else to play.

I laughed. Maybe it will help that they hired a former SEC coach, and a very good one at that?

The fact that LSU and Alabama are playing again completely blows up the idea that the regular season is the playoffs. And again, I hope Alabama wins just because I enjoy when the BCS looks stupid.

Agree.... There are all these NCAA rules for teams and players when it comes to $$$. The same rules should be applied all the way to the top. It's all about someone making money. Except the players of course..... Completely ruined the sport!

The money goes for all student athletes and is split between conferences. I went to the Michigan B-ball game on Saturday and saw the new Player Development Center for the B-ball team. The players are not suffering:lol:

In Stanfords defense, they lost to Oregon a top 10 team.

IDC if you beat 10 top 10 teams, with the current system you should be eliminated if you lose to a .500 team when you are favored by 27 points to win.

I understand people tiring of the SEC talk, but the only thing more sickening is other people acting like SEC talk isn't happening for a reason. They are dominating college football currently. It likely will even out soon, but you can't honestly say LSU is hands down the number one team without putting Alabama #2.
