I am for it in extreme cases. Two gangsters fighting it out and one stabbing another and killing him is not extreme. Some guy ripping his girlfriends eyelids off while he handcuffs her to a door, then slowly killing her over a two day period is extreme and that guy needs to be put down. A person robbing a convenience store and killing someone with a firearm in the act deserves to fry. A priest anally raping 134 young boys over a decade deserves to get thrown off a cliff or at least ripped into quarters by horses. I am pro death penalty and JUSTICE DEMANDS IT>
Fry all the murderers and pedophiles. I'd also allow one appeal and then its time for the dirt nap. No more getting the needle after 20 years.
This is the problem. As long as it takes to make it to the chair, it kind of defeats the purpose of the death penalty. If I was given a life sentence (in the case of death penalty being illegal) I'd probably want the death penalty after 20 years anyway.
If some sicko happily admits to raping and torturing a girl before he kills her, he deserves to be PUT DOWN THE DAY AFTER HIS TRIAL. I am talking wake up in the morning, walk out into a field, and get lit up with some gunfire.
For those of you saying you wish the death penalty on any murder charge think of this....someone rapes and kills your mother for no reason. You retaliate and kill that person. You are now a murderer. Do you deserve the death penalty? I for one believe you should just walk out of jail the next day as a free man.
I am for all pre-meditated murderers and molestations .. I think pedophiles should be hung by their nuts and beaten with a broom handle until dead ... child molestation kills the living psyche ... it's a living death for soooo many
i voted for the first choice, but i agree with this. I cant change it my vote but if i could id change it to the third choice.
You could line up hole group of them up within the catholic church (priest) You know the good guys. and ill buy the broom handles if you dont mind getting your hands dirty.
I will go with the infamous "Express Lane" that Ron White speaks of. If you are insane enough to kill, then you should be ok with dying yourself. I believe some should maybe be denied the quickness of lethal injection or the chair. Some crimes are worthy of suffering for a long period of time.
provided that you killed this person right after you found out he killed your mother it is voluntary manslaughter. Not a death penalty offense hang them all high x2
I am all for the death penalty. I also believe if there is cold hard proof that the individual is guilty....send his ass to hell the day after the guilty verdict.

Ultra, I just put "thou shall not kill" out there to further this debate since I see many Christians on this thread supporting the death penalty. I would just like to know how the death penalty and their religious convictions co-exist in harmony. I support the death penalty just on its face alone...justice demands it.
