Thank you! If anyone is looking for a reasonable priced place to try a bear hunt/fish package, this place is awesome ! Booked for next year already, Lukinto Lake Lodge in Longlac Ontario

That was a really nice shot and a really good hole that your broadhead left. If don't mind me asking, what broadhead did you use?

The original 2 blade rage chisel point. Hasn't failed me yet. Other rage products I haven't been impressed with. Too many trial & error issues. Grandma always said if it's not broken, don't fix it!

I was guessing that it was a rage. I could tell it was a big 2 blade. It definitely did good job on that bear... I'm trying the nap sling blades out this year. Almost 2 inch cut 2 blade. Happy with what I've seen so far.

Don't know too much about those. I'll have to look them up. My secondary broadhead is a blood runner. You get both worlds of mechanical & fixed

I like the looks of the blood runners but I've never tried them. Nap came out with the sling blades last year.

    Nice bear and good shot.

Fun fact-NC is actually supposed to have some of the largest black bears in the country. Unfortunately I live in the wrong part of the state...

Nice !as long as the dar things aren't picking through your bird feeders & such. Have quite a few here. Always good for at least one getting smucked by a car on the interstate. Had two cubs get whacked& one boat thus far this year.

The record bears here tend to be taken near some of the hog farms and Ag farms...consuming more than bird food. I think the state record was nearly 900lbs, but every year there are quite a few over 500# taken. Big bears and serious damage if/when hit by cars.

Hey everyone, sorry I'm late to the party... We're slammed with antelope hunters and deer starts on the first. I'll get out a little later on. Good luck to everyone this fall!
