Tonight I watched as Carlos Zambrano threw a no-hitter on my television. It was a great moment as a Cubs fan.. I should've been there is all I can say. I was there when Wood struck out 20.. and I should've been there in person tonight. Bring on October.. I can't wait.:d Lots of drinking coming my way.. as I'll be celebrating this team probably for a long time. :d :d
I just found out my mom went up to the game and didn't invite me. :mad1: Anyways, GO CUBS GO! PS - We may miss a few days of hunting my friend, when we're spending our life savings on playoff tickets and beer.
Oh.. I bet we miss a few too. Get onto Cubs.com.. meant to tell you earlier today. I signed my wife and I seperately to get into the Cubs playoff tickets. Sign you and Amy up so we can get some better chances.:d :d :d I don't care if we just end up wandering Wrigleyville bar hopin'... we will be there for some of those games. Go Cubs Go!:d :d :d
I threw up in my mouth when Darin Erstad swung at that pitch. Of course an Ex-Sox would help Crazy Z get a no-hitter. Of course! Talk about a ball thrown a Hooyman's length away from the plate. Enjoy drinking now! I don't know if you will be so happy when drinking come October. There might be a Hank Williams' sized Tear in Your Beer when Cubbie delusions of grandeur don't materialize.
Sounds like Justin is the one with issues if he considered Balls a friend. You should know better! LOL
We can return to our active friendship status after the baseball season is over. Until then the possibility of a Crosstown Fall Classic is still a possibility. Therefore we are rivals for the time being. In all honesty it is probably the most rare no-hit being it was a transplant game.
