Sounds like an excellent spot Aaron, hope you lay down a good one there.

Nathan, I'll be hunting our 365 acre farm in Illinois this year. As usual I will throw in a couple different public land pieces to give our farm a break. A lot of big bucks have been taken here over the years, it's just a matter of making sure I'm in the right place when one decides to walk by.

PT has definitely been our off season mouth piece, I'm good with that. Let the rest of us focus on killing giants.... You can kill one too if you want PT.

10 days until opening day here, can't wait to get out there. Not sure if I'm excited more for myself or for my son, I'm going to work hard to get him a deer this year.

Oh hey guys I need some cell numbers.... I have Pt's but have lost all others over the course of the year, if you could pm me your number I'll return mine, and I'll keep in touch this season with texts while on stand and what not.

I'm down to under a month now, and I can't wait. I still have some stands that need to get put out, but with the corn starting to come out, I will probably wait and see how that changes some patterns.

Pulled the cards off some cameras today. I need to find some more battery friendly cameras though, this is getting ridiculous with how many D batteries my Cuddebacks are eating up. I moved some cameras around, and still have another one that I need to get out there.

Anyways here are a couple pictures from the last few weeks. Nothing that is in jaw dropping huge size, but there is still some potential here. It's still kind of hard to judge what they really have for mass with the velvet still on.

One heck of a good looking 2 year old 9 pointer. I've got a few different pics of this guy at this location.

The next 3 pictures are of the same 8 pointer. He has had a pretty predictable traveling pattern all summer, but I think he may only be a 2 year old. I'll TRY to keep the trigger finger in the pocket if he walks out.

Finally I think I may have found one of the bucks from last year. I can't be positive, but it looks like Windy may of made it through the winter.

Here's a pretty cool picture, of what looks like a very good buck. Just wish it was in frame more.

PT if you want to be captain, you have my vote. I'm not around the computer as much as I used to be.
