Merry Christmas everyone, I hope everyone had a great day.

My dad said he saw the big boy I've been chasing this morning unfortunately he it's now missing one side. I have to say that is a big blow to my motivation. I did see a small buck yesterday from afar that was missing one side also, looks like they are dropping quick. I'll probably hit the other farm a couple times this week.

Sorry about the end of the year Isaiah, loosing a leader always makes it tough. Good luck in the woods man.

Not much movement tonight, saw a few does but nothing close. I'm down to 2 sits. I like the pressure but I'm not sure the bucks will cooperate.

Yea sorry Isaiah, such a bummer man. You guys were kicking *** and taking names, and it just fell apart so fast.
To everyone still hunting, best of luck these final weeks. I know you guys gave your all, we can still do this!

Enjoy your time out in the woods Isaiah, and best of luck getting something on the ground!

I only was able to hunt Monday afternoon. Saw nothing....

I did see the 180 while coming home again, so he is still around. I kind of hope he quits hanging out in this field so often at night....sadly, in this area a poacher is bound to find him...

Another tough loss Isaiah. My sister, daughter and I watched as much of the game as poosible. We made it a tad into the 3rd quarter before we boarded our plane for Texas. We were cheering hard for the Bears and disappointed upon landing. It is tough to lose so many mainstays of a team. I believe most sports fans recognize this...The Bears will regroup and they will also be stronger as a consequence.

Texas is going well so far (we came to chunk arrows and have fun). I'm hunting with my sister and daughter along side Tony Sansalone and his daughter. We're all gunning for free range whatever, since the season for everything legal is open right now. The "adults" (just kidding) in the group are rotating turns sitting with the budding huntresses. It's been a gas! Each girl has had a shot at a deer. One deer was killed and one was missed. I've had two solo sits so far. A doe was arrowed on the first and two bucks went down on the second. Tony hasn't shot (he's much more selective) an arrow. My sister arrowed a hog this evening. I'll get photos up when I can.

Let's give this season our best shot right to the end! Get em guys!

I am in stand now but haven't seen a deer yet, too warm I think. Planning on going in the morning again. That will be my last hunt.

I really wanted to go out this weekend, but they're calling for 30mph winds. Don't know if I want to make the 5 hour drive and end up seeing nothing.
Good luck Matt, Dave, Scott, and anyone else going out this weekend.
May you be blessed with a New Years Bruiser!

About 2 weeks left for me here in Illinois.

The weather is too damn hot. Was almost 60 yesterday, and not much colder today. No snow, and the lack of cool temps are keeping movement to a minimum.

I'll be out the next 3 days battling the late season gun hunters.
