Way to go Will, Colby now it's your turn. Dave, with all the bad luck you've had somethings got to give. Your time is coming soon. Stick to it.
Saw nothing tonight. Plan on trying again tomm. morning, when alarm clock goes off at 4:15 hope I have the desire to go. Feeling a little worn out and frustrated. Dave
I agree with Clint, Dave ... you have something big coming your way ... Congrats, Will!!!!!! Colby, KILL A DOE ALREADY!!!!!!
Good stuff Colby. Congrats again to you and Will. With those 100 points and Clint's buck, I'm interested to see what the next scoreboard will show..... I looked in one last hollow today for my buck. At this point I think I have to toss this one up in the lost column. Sorry boys, I blew my chance on what would have been my 2nd biggest buck ever. I'm going to take a break for the rest of the weekend, and recharge my batteries. Next weekend is 2nd gun season, so no bowhunting. It will be Dec. 10th before I can get out again. I'll put my odds of taking a good buck somewhere around 5%. They simply disappear after the gun seasons.
Fred, It was an incredible day here! By 10am, I had around 60 deer sightings. Five came within bow range. One was missed (she jumped string big time) and another never made it out. I sent two arrows down range at coyotes. One of the pairie dogs is singing in Heaven. I emptied my quiver...but on my last shot (at the deer), my string rolled off my bow's lower cam. I was dead in the water until I could get my bow into a press. Thank goodness the guys we're hunting with are total bow techies. I was up and running by 2:00-ready for the afternoon hunt. I arrowed a second doe this evening. I placed Colby in my favorite Nebraska stand. By day's end, the Colbmiester had two deer of his own. We found the first pictured above, but the second in still in the bush. We're going to look for it in the morning. On this evening's hunt, I had 12 deer stroll past me. Good luck tomorrow everyone! We'll keep you posted! And thanks for the kind words. I'll get more pics up when I can.
Awesome Guys!! Way to get out there and make it happen... That's what this teams all about! Congrats Guys!
Good job Will and colby, looks cold out there. I am up and moving, going out to look for a legal buck or take "Bob" for a walk again, whichever comes first. Dave
Thanks guys its been an awesome experience here in Nebraska. Everyone I've met have been great people. I can't thank Will enough for providing me with this opportunity it has been great and weekend I will always remember and cherish. I was more nervous for my first doe than I was my buck. Being in the presence of greatness can be a lot of pressure. Have a great hunt guys good luck. Let's put some more deer down and win this thing. Sent from my ADR6350 using Tapatalk
Awesome job Will and Colby. That's what makes this team so great. The willingness to go the extra mile. Will you are the man for helping Colby get his doe and I noticed that is a really big doe. Dave, Scott and those still hunting hang in there.
