NY, let me express again that I am very happy for you. Your first deer is always the one you will remember the most. No matter how many more times you tag a deer or the size they are the very first will always hold special meaning. Now that you broke the ice it is time for the bucks. So I can shoot spikes now? Actually the spikes I have seen would not even count as a buck. All of them have been three inches or less. Thirteen more deer is a lot more than I thought we needed. That is actually good I guess, we are up top with points with a lot of bone and brown still to put down. Dave
Sure Dave, you can shoot the spike, if that's what floats your boat. But, when you land in Colorado, to hunt your elk and just after I pick you up from the airport, I will buy you the steak of your choice for any buck over 120.
