No luck at all...............after I Text Tony at 915pm me and the wife went down there until 1 am and looked. I went back down at first light the next morning and looked until 3pm. I simply could not walk anymore with the broke foot. My foot and ankle was so swollen that the last 2 hours I had the brace and my boot off carrying them as I looked.

35+ years bow hunting and I have never seen anything like this. Good shot placement, arrow was 85% into animal with ZERO and I mean ZERO blood. Strangest damn thing I have ever seen. Hobbled out back to my range and shot 8 groups of three, bow is dead on. I think today I am going to test the MX3 against the standard Muzzy 3 blade 100's I normally use. The only thing I have changed from last years setup was broadheads. So no blood trail with that kind of penetration and shot placement perplexes me. I guess there is a first for everything.

Woke up this morning with a terrible head cold, decided not to hunt this morning. Will try this evening. I am trying here guys but the old body is not cooperating)

    Be safe, Hunt Hard

Saw a momma and a baby. Seen an 8 point, guessed him at 115-118, move by my stand at 35 yards. I know there are bigger in these woods so he gets a pass for now. Will hit it again next week sometime.

    Be safe Hunt hard

I'm back home...36 hours of travel and airports has taken its toll. I was unable to get up this morning for a deer hunt, and the wife and I are going to the Bronco game this afternoon. Hunting this evening is out. I'll give it heck tomorrow evening. I will also start processing more photos and the events from the trip...bear with me.

Took my bow out to practice this weekend but it rained both days. Did get to see 8 bucks walk 35 yards from the house last evening though. They all came through in a group. All different sizes but the biggest was only around 115-120. Can't wait till the big boys start moving.
