Saw one deer moving through the woods at approx. 5:50 am. could not tell if it was a buck or doe. No movement after that, heading out soon for the evening hunt.

Be safe, Hunt hard guys !!

Colby, the stablizer appears big but it is actually very light and would not suffice for a bat. It does a wonderful job of shifting weight and shock waves forward of my hand.

Isaiah, thanks man. Since you only live once, I like to make things happen!

Dave, keep yur nose to the wheel..do not settle! Push through the pain!

I'm on a plane back home today (leave at 1:30 am Saturady morn-it's 6:50am friday morn now). I'm off to chase a muley on Sunday with my daughter in tow. I cannot wait to be home!

Reese, I'm William Nelson on FB

    Aaron, when do you start?

Sent ya a text Tony............doe shot 17 yards......ran into a thicket 30 yards away............ZERO bloodtrail. Good shoot, lower mid body just behind front leg from 25 foot ladder stand. Hope I find her in the AM..................ARGGHH............damn broke foot hurts. BTW, I decided to try the muzzy MX3 100's. Had good penetration (85%) arrow in deer. Surprised no pass through but what really got me is no bloodtrail at all.

Hey guys, yesterday was a great day in the stand but unfortunately I have nothing to show for it. I saw a lots of deer, lots of does with fawns... I'm a big softy and can't bring myself to killing a mommy that has little ones with spots. I know I know...

I didn't see any bones from the stand, I did see a nice buck while walking out in the morning. My buddy that was with me had a big 10 close at sundown but it didn't work out. I did get some decent pics off my ground, I'll post a couple later if I get a chance.

Dren sounds like a good time in the stand. Can't wait to see the pics. Season is still early you got lots of time to put one down.

Good luck this weekend guys. I'm out of here for the Wisconsin opener. I came down with a brutal cold yesterday , but I'm going anyways.
Maybe I can disguise my cough as buck grunts!
Would love to just see some deer, maybe learn a thing or two about this property.
    See Ya
    Fred :ninja:
