I've tried everything to calm down before bow season. For whatever reason I am starting to crack....

    This is pretty much me....

I'm feeling kind of the opposite. Season opened last weekend and I had no desire to go out at all. Still don't. Went out and shot and eh wasn't really feeling it, went and did something else. Might go check cams this weekend if I feel like it. I need to snap out of it.

Nope I am calm until it's time. But when I get in the shower prepping to hunt it is on.

I hope you realize how many people would love to be able to hunt but don't have the means or resources needed. Don't take it for granted. We all get in a rut (no pun intended), it's time to focus. I'm not saying you need to be jumping up and down or streaking through the quad. Just remember why you hunt, if you have any antlers laying around, go pick them up. Remember that as we age our priorities change and you may not want to hunt for the same reasons as before and that's okay. Find a new reason and most of all enjoy it.

I went out Saturday and sweated my butt off. I enjoyed the sit but I cancelled Sundays hunt and enjoyed some football and a nap.
