Really? Who cares? So it's okay to falsely promote a product on the internet just so more people will buy it? A lot of guys I know, myself included, aren't going to take the time to make their trail camera pictures look better... Just saying. If people see the pictures on the internet that Pat posts, they are going to expect that same exact quality on the pictures from their own cameras if they would choose to purchase them. It's really that simple of a concept.
Actually this isn't bad I expected way more All USA pics I post are straight off the cam and unedited
Not a fan of hunting places like that but I can appreciate the pictures and the beautiful deer for what they are. My only question is why start the thread if you knew it was going to stir trouble? It seems like you wanted to start a fight from this comment. If so, looks like you accomplished your mission.
Not sure why you guts are busting Pat's balls. He did the right thing with a full disclosure up front. It's really simple... If you cant get past the thought of the deer being genetically bred to have big racks and are in a high fence enclosure then don't look / open the thread.
Pat, thanks for sharing these pics and all the pics that you post. Bill(the owner of Buck Hollow) is a first rate guy. Many of us don't like or agree with hunting behind a fence and that is ok, but some people it is there thing. Bill isn't only out to make money but also donates many hunts to wounded veterans and kids. In 2010 my brother fell from a tree stand that we were and had a severe brain injury. There was a benefit for him and Bill donated a hunt to my brothers 11yr old son. Bill took my brother and his son out for the hunt. My nephew took a 169 inch buck, but during the hunt he saw bucks that were over 200 inches. Thankfully my brother is able to hunt again with his son but at that time it was a special hunt because he didn't know if he was ever going to be able to hunt again. Again thanks Pat thanks for sharing!
He is just posting TRAIL CAM PICS on a forum designated to POST TRAIL CAM PICS ON so just chill out !!.Great pics Pat keep them coming.
Wow, looks like I missed out on all the fun here. Great pictures Pat! I'm not a fan of high fence operations these days but I can appreciate big bucks and what it takes to get some great pictures to share. If you are honest and up front the truth will set you free...well unless you're Pat and posting pics on this forum LOL!! Doesn't matter as I see there are a few posting with an axe to grind but haters always gonna hate, even if they use different screen names.
No different screen names here... Two completely different guys. Nonetheless, you people are ridiculous. That is all.
Apparently you know who I'm talking about then. Grind your axe on your own threads then. The only thing ridiculous is someone coming on someone else's thread and hijacking it to suit their own needs and agenda. Why don't you go start your own condemning high fence and edited trail camera pictures...I'm sure you'll have a large fan base...
And you do likewise. If Pat truly was offending or breaking any of these rules you keep mentioning this site and it's moderators would shut him down either temporarily or indefinitely. However, all he did here was post trail camera pictures in a trail camera sub-forum...and fully disclosed everything about the pictures. ZERO issue should be taken. If posting pictures of ANYTHING is advertising don't ever post a single picture because some brand will be in it; bow, clothing, gear, truck, stands, trail cameras.... It isn't sarcasm to know some folks even after full disclosure will get their panties in an uproar about high fenced trail camera images. The sub-forum is trail camera images...this qualifies clearly and without issue. Full disclosure is the key when using photos from enclosures, as I too get disgusted if any company uses them without disclosure...and I'm a good friend of Pat's saying that. However, full disclosure is key. Coverts started slipping even while Pat was still there (no offense intended brother)...their quality has nothing to do with Pat. For the price I still feel the MPe5 is nearly impossible to beat....and I still love the MP6's as well and run about a dozen Coverts right now and soon to be a couple USA's. I am not a fan of altering photos but when used in advertising it is assumed anymore...from trophy shots used by bow companies, broadheads and ANY OTHER product I guarantee at least 1 thing has been edited about the photo or filter applied. I know I've never adjusted any of my images from my Coverts and some are freaking museum quality...but I don't need them to be that personally. Oh and albeit high fence this pictures/videos are disgusting nice!
There has been no such thing as an unedited digital photo for at least 10 years. Most but not all Trail cameras that boast 8mp+ resolution are actually 4mp cameras that "convert" the images to 8mp. In the process it creates a MUCH larger file. To that point I was having some screen resolution issues on my work computer which has 4 different monitors. I had the computer programmer we have on staff trying to help me get it figured it. We were using my trail camera pictures as example pictures while messing with settings and he could not believe how large the files were for what the resolution was. The guy has 30+ years of programmer experience and said he had never seen an 8mp picture that was that large. He also doesn't hunt or look at trail camera pictures ever.
