If you ware to use a buck bomb would you use the doe in estrus, dominant buck, doe p or the young buck. Would you set it of all at once or just spray randomly?

I used the acorn bomb in early season. My tactic was to spray down certain areas in my lanes with individual sprays then which would leave me with about half the can or little less than that leftover. Then I would set that off in my main lane and let it completely disperse and leave the can sitting on the ground right there. That's how I used it. Was thinking about getting an estrus bomb and using the same tactic also debating using an estrus drag rag along with it for this weekend. Still undecided though.

I have used the estrus buck bomb with success. I wouldn't use the whole can at once, just sprayed it on leaves and along doe trails near whichever stand I'm hunting during the rut. Last year it helped get me a buck for the shotgun opener.

I have never used this only heard about it. So is it basically an aerosol can that you can spray on anything or is it like one of those bug bombs were you can only lock it down until it is empty?

NEVER use the whole thing at once. I usually go through about 3 cans a year. During early season i use "Doe P" and during the rut i use "Estrous". Mainly i just spray down the bottoms of my boots when i get close to the stand and spray some around the base of my tree before i climb. Once im in the stand i spray some around the leaves and on the trees around me. Been great so far!

guys i have used this for the past 4 seasons and have shot 3 bucks (passed on a few decent ones last year that came into it). This estrous is the best on the market in my opinion for a store bought scent, the ones you get from a deer farm from one doe are better but more expensive. That being said you have to know how to use it.

Now this is all my opinion but it has worked for me.
I NEVER spray it on the ground or limbs or tree etc. By doing this you put estrous out where it will be 24/7 though it is good for when your hunting, what people dont think about is when your not in the stand. If a mature buck comes in after dark to that estrous and doesn't find a doe, when you go back to use it and hunt again, there are very slim odds he will return to the same scent in the same area. If you fool them once you gotta be there!

Having said that my preferred method is to spray some on a drag rag and run it from where most of the movement is to my stand. This increases the odds a searching buck will come right too you.. then i take the rag on some fishing line and hang it right at their nose level above the ground.. this allows the scent to travel and gives you a an aiming point that you know they will come to.. just like a scent wick. I freshen it with a few sprays before i climb the tree. Then take it out with you in a ziplock bag.

I buy one can a season, thats all you need. Soak a small 2" x 2" rag to drag it in and refreshen it once your there. There is no need to use whole or even half the can. The buck bomb estrous is so pungent im sure they will be able to smell it a ways down wind.

I fully encourage anyone to try it, i have tried every brand under the sun and nothing has worked like the buck bomb.. good luck!

There is a Tinks #69 bomb out there now, by far has produced the best results for me. spray lightly till you have half a can or more, then you have some for tomorrow night
