Going to Go with the Diamond Outlaw or PSE Stinger guys. Thanks for the help. I've never really been a fan of Matthews, don't know why, I just haven't.
I have the Bowtech Assassian and absolutely love it. For the price it shots as fast with as much kinetic energy if not more than most of your high price Mathews or Hoyts. I have also shoot the Outlaw and it's a really nice bow for the price, Bowtechs customer service is also a added bonus. My only advice would be if you get the Outlaw would be to change the rest out for a fall away rest. Just my opinion, but don't go with PSE .
Nothing "bad" to say but I was between PSE and Hoyt when making my bow decision. The Hoyt's draw cycle seemed much more user friendly, that is just me. That said, I was still very close to going with a PSE.
smooth, quiet, fast, cheap, light, short, dead nuts accurate, and made by Matthews. What more could you ask for? $625 w/ quiver, rest, and sights. I was shooting 2" 40 yard groups in less than half an hour after set up- and that's the first time I ever shot leftie (switching from strong side due to eyes.) The bow is just a natural.
I bought the new PSE Brute X last year and I absolutely love it. 500 bucks and its one of the best bows I have ever shot. It comes fully loaded, all you need is arrows.
If you like the sound of a 30/06 in the deer woods then you will love a PSE. Prob a solid 100 dollars of aftermarket dampeners come factory installed to try and help a little. Guy shot a deer with one a few years back roughly 150-200 yards away I thought the treestand collapsed.
