    We did a couple road kill setups last year like this. The possums must pretty tuff? Once they are discovered by the yotes around here they only last 2 days. We actually gotta wire the carcass to trees or they get dragged off and dont get any pics.

    Checked the cams again on the boneyard. Got that owl i was waiting for, and the coyotes have finally found it as well...

    The owl pictures are certainly cool.

    It is. We showed it to one of the local birds of prey experts and she confirmed. The other common owl here, the barred, doesn't have ear tufts. The only comparable sized owls are the snowy and barn, which he isnt. We have some smaller ones too like the Screech.

    They use it more than any other bird honestly. I have both red - tailed and red - shouldered hawks visit regularly.

    Still waiting on my bald eagle to return from last year.

    One of the guys I work with has a local sheep farm and he lost one yesterday to bloat. More fresh meat for the critters!
