So I'm hanging with the little guy at the cabin for the next couple of days since I don't have a buck tag and have off the rest of the week. We are looking through a deer magazine. He asks me what the rut really is. Screw the birds and the bees. "Daddy deer are looking for mommy deer so they can make baby deer." This way was actually easy for me to talk about and I didn't feel weird. Plus I could talk about it all day. Lol
