Well done boys, well done. Crick... you can't drink too much when you gotta get up in the morning! And besides that, my walls are insulated... unlike those on my sweet tent:d
Thanks for the replies guys. We had a good time. I was able to get Scott's opinion on some stand sets and such. Once again, I was happy to have him around and glad we actually did quite well as far as sheds are concerned. The area we were walking was kind of a new spot I haven't ever shed hunted before. Hence all of the old sheds. No more slacking here. I plan on hitting these shed "hot-spots" so to speak in about two-three weeks. I have a few other new properties I haven't walked prior to work on before I head back to these spots. We jumped the same buck I saw last week and he was still carrying. Hopefully I can find that shed.
Good stuff guys, but you really missed the opportunity to take a timed picture of the event with all the sheds at your feet with BOTH you guys in the picture!!! Think about how often we all get to get together ... capture those memories!!!
Seriously... What gives? I've been out 5x so far this year, walking my ass off every time - and all I have to show for myself is 4 measley antlers. I'm not complaining, but all I know is I must be cleaning up some ghetto-fabulous acreage, b/c the biggest shed I've found all year MIGHT go 45" on a good day. A few hours, and you schmucks are hauling it in like it's your job. :computer: I've had it. I'm moving west.
The Ohio part of "The Big Ten Antler Connection" flexed some more muscle with a fresh shed find in the land of the Big 12, I picked one up in Oklahoma as well
