The "Big Bear" Tourney

Well the boy just took of for the "Big Bear" wrestling tourney. It is the biggest tourney in northern mn. 32 teams. He is in a pretty loaded bracket. If he has a good couple days a 2nd or 3rd is achievable. Realistically I've got him in the 5th place match. I'll update from the tourney. Good luck Sambo.

Thanks guys. Just getting ready to leave again. BTW a 37 team not 32 team. He has a senior from a neighboring town next. The kid has some size and strength on Sam, but I think Sam is a better technician. On paper I have Sam winning 7-5, let's see how the chips fall. For those of you who don't have sons that compete, especially in a one on one sport this is awesome to say the least.

 

Got beat 3-0 back to wrestle backs win this one in the 3 rd place match. Loose and in the 5th

Well had a tough match again a older senior. Sams a young sophomore. Ended up winning 4-2 against the kid who beat him 2 weeks ago. He got 5th overall a good showing. Proud of ya kid.
