So I have had a cam in this exact spot for a year now. Monday night I switched the cam out with a Covert MP6.
I have a couple ground hogs that I see back there all the time but I had never gotten one on the cam which I always thought was odd.... until now!

Coincidence?? Maybe but probably just the Covert difference..

    A doe just for fun!

I've heard of some fellers eating it......I never have though. I'm curious what it's like. I figured it'd kinda taste like squirrel?

Oh dont think I'd compare it to squirrel, I like squirrel but I'd have to be pretty darn hungry to eat ground hog again. When I was a kid we used to shoot alot of em and take them to some folks down the road. One time they invited us over to try it.... Eh I'll pass the next time pretty greasy and gamey reminded me more of a coon or a bad piece of bear meat.
