I've never posted any maps before of the woods I hunt but I thought what the hell being we've got some very knowledgeable whitetail machines on these boards. So, tell me where you would possibly hunt. I'll let you all know where I've had my best success. Looking forward to everyone's Input, thanks!!

Steve, are there any parts of the property you could designate as "sanctuaries" and not hunt them at all until the pre-rut kicks off? So you have a couple hundred acres. Take like 50 of the thickest, nastiest acres, and don't hunt those acres at all until around October 25th-30th or so. So instead of focusing on the terrain and cover, think in terms of managing a portion of your hunting area by not hunting it all until the right time. And get everyone that hunts on that property to buy into your thoughts. I don't know, just an idea buddy. I have never had any property of my own, just thinking aloud. Best of luck.

Thanks Cooter for posting. I made the boundaries In black so you know where my land borders. The circle you made Inside the woods Is a crick that runs down to the swamp. The crick banks are very steep and do have some good runways on each side following the crick. There's better trails running east and west crossing the crick, the heavier trails are on top.

The circle you made that borders my land does have a decent trail/runway going north and south. I've saw 2 different P&Y bucks come off of that trail through out the years hunting SW of the circle 50 yards or so. Last winter with one week of the deer season left I found some huge beds on the southern tip of your circle. The land the borders to the east of my land Is all Switch grass with a bunch of small bushy tree Islands all over on top and swamp In the bottom. It's pretty nice bedding over there.

Definitely Brett. There's one spot that I actually won't even come close to all season. It's thick as hell, big bedding area. I've never been able to actually say for sure though If any mature bucks bed In here. I've saw doe's and smaller bucks come and go from there but never anything else.
