So as some of you have read I recently bought my first bow and became instantly addicted. My wife has been going to the range with me and meeting new people and haveing a great time with me. (Archers are some of the nicest people we have ever ment).
Saterday we went to the pro shop to get a broad head target for me and my wife was like "honey? can I try a bow?"... To make a long story short we walked out with a Diamond Razor and a complete outfit for her. One afternoon at the flat range and she is shooting tighter groups at 30yard than me!:o LOL. Now all she wants to do is goto the range!:D
She has been my fishing buddy for years, now she is my archery bud. I am thinking that I will have to draw the line at hunting... Hunting is me and my bros time :D

Where at in Washington do you live? I used to live there are hunted a lot. That state has a great deal to offer a bowhunter, you just go to know where to go.

There are not many good ranges around, where are you shooting?

We live in Puyallup, and goto Skookum archers. Great bunch of people there. We havent tryed the Tacoma sportsman club yet to see how there range is. Mabey next weekend we will go up there.

This will be my first year hunting with a bow so any advice on areas to hunt would be helpful. I spent a good deal of time last year scouting around Samalasac and spotted several large bucks in the area.

Cool! I just ordered up a Razor Edge for my neighbor this morning. He saw me out shooting yesterday and came over to BS. Now he's going to be hooked too!

That is a good area. Send a PM with your email address and I can give you a couple spots for Mule Deer, Whitetails and even Elk. For Black tails there are many good spots but they can be hard to hunt, like a ghost.

I grew up in Port Orchard and lived there as well as Mount Vernon, and Sequim.
