Ok here we go guys this is the deal you can only use 6 of your shed antlers and they gotta be six of your best to try to reach a gross score of 450" this is gonna be fun to see what everyone averages . Lets see if wee can come up with one of our own. I have six single sheds 5 typical and one nontypical that totals 516" of bone.

You take the main beam all the tines and the first four circumfrences. and that is the gross score of the shed. do that to all 6 sheds and add up the tally for a total score.

All 6 sheds would have to average 75" to reach 450. Not happening here. I've only got one shed that goes 75".

Let's see the pictures of them Shed :D

Biggest one I have ever found was 70-71"

We just dont grow them as big around here, or should say the hunting pressure is high enough that they don't get that old......

LOL I've been at it for over 12 years with some where around 500 sheds to my credit. We just don't have a lot of bucks that go over 70" a side.

I still am planning on throwing up my top 6 but need to double check a couple to see what my biggest top 6 are. It will be interesting to see everyone's number whether they make 450 or not.

    Mine is 412

    Tyler's is 413

I find that pretty interesting how close we are. If you take our average... our top end bucks will have 68 6/8" per side. Double it and add a 17 inch spread = 154 4/8 . I've always stated that a top end buck in my area is 150 - 160. Our 1200 plus shed collection proves it.

My biggest bow buck went 160
My biggest rifle buck went 149 with a busted tine... should have been in the 153 range. That pretty much falls in line with the shed collection.
My 6 biggest bucks killed with bow/rifle averaged 138. I see I need to work on that !! LOL

I took my best 6 sheds and my score ended up 431 1/8 inches! I came up a tad short! Here are my best sheds and the last picture is my best 4 point shed that scores 66 6/8 inches! My biggest buck is a 124 3/8 inch 10 pointer so I am still looking for my first Pope & Young and missed with him by 5/8 of an inch! One day my dreams will come true! I missed a Pope & Young my second year of hunting and have never had a shot at another one since. My 10 would of made it but he had 8 inches in deduction from side to side difference. I also put a picture of him at the end. I killed him with a bow!

Tim, I agree when I came out with all my bigger sheds I remember us going through every shed U had, it seems that the majority of your bucks top out in that mid to high 70 inch mark.. I think the one thing I have over you out here is our bucks get NT junk to add to the gross.. our bucks top out here in the low 80s max.. Every now and then a freak NT will surface though up around 90+ inches to 100, but I have yet to find one.. only seen a couple..we tend to have a lot of split brows and forked g-2s .. in the gene pool out here..

guys, this is in no way an insult to anyone its just a way to give everyone a average on the sheds they find in there regions. we all know some of us live in areas that produce monster whitetails where larger sheds are common. i cant wait to see what the average ends up being it will be very cool to see .

I dont think my 6 best PA sheds break 200" :D:eek:
I've got 9 sheds from PA & all of them wouldn't break 450", not even close.

Well I measured my 6 best yesterday and came up with 371 2/8". I have some monsters I found but the broken tines or broken main beams killed my score. While looking through my pile of sheds I noticed I have about 85% left sides for some strange reason. I think someone is beating me to the right sides.

I'm starting to amass a pretty solid shed pile, but I still couldn't even scare the 400 mark.

I think my best six all fall in the range of 58-67.

450" is just plain sick. I raise my glass to all you shed poundin' mofo's who are hauling home that kind of bone. This little pup couldn't even get off the porch to compete with that!

I raise my glass to anyone finding sheds, especially top end sheds for your areas, no different than killing top end bucks for your areas..
