The “Archery Trigger” By: Timney Triggers Attending the 2012 ATA Show in Columbus, OH. I came across the Timney Triggers booth and have wondered how good their archery triggers were since they have made gun triggers since 1946. Designed and made in the USA with the archer in mind, the wrist strap is constructed of genuine top grade leather and a durable buckle that feels good on the wrist. The strap features 2 anchor points which makes this a great year around release. So, whether you are wearing gloves or not an adjustment is as simple as moving the connector rod. The trigger housing uses 6061 T6 alloy billet which is frequently used in the secondary chambers and baffle systems in firearm sound suppressors and provides durability to last you years. The jaws are polished to ensure smooth release of the bow string and utilizing a stainless steel ¼” ball chain connector, giving you full articulation of the trigger while reducing string torque. Meaning, this design prevents you from twisting your arrow and allows for more accurate shooting. The heat treated steel roller trigger design allowed for smooth release each time I shot which, also lead to more consistent shooting. With hook and double caliper designed releases accompanied by a lifetime warranty Timney offers the archer a lot for the money.
