I drove three hours to Kentucky to get after a piebald doe that's been spotted where we hunt

I got to my brother's house in Mayfield and as soon as I opened the truck door I realized that I forgot to bring my quiver.

Muzzleloader season opens tomorrow and I brought my TC Encore, but I'll be twiddling my thumbs this evening.

I always have my brain running 100 times through a list when I am on my way to a hunting spot for this exact reason - afraid I'll forget something VERY important! But, it does happen...to the best of us!

I called the only archery shop around earlier. They had my arrows but I've got mine weighted to 530 grains. They didn't have anything but standard 11 grain inserts. I really considered it but it would shoot so different that it wasn't worth the risk to me.

Thanks. KY is a one buck state and I've already gotten mine but I'm really hoping to see one of the piebald does here. I'll take any doe that walks by though.
