Stopped at the golf course to check messages, get mail, etc... I had 6 messages on the answering machine wondering if I was open! February 1st and golfers in NY are wondering if I was open. Balmy 50 degrees here today and not a bit of snow on the ground.
Hey man, you should see Louisiana the past few days. It's been 75 degress for the most part. People are golfing, wearing shorts, everything lol.
75 in FL This is our winter I was looking forward to some cooler hunts wher're you could wear some jackets and heavier clothing. I'm back to light weight stuff.
We got to 40 today... but we still have snow... but not much. It's just been one weird winter. Take Sunday, Fulton, NY not that far from me... like a half hour or 45 min. got 35 inches of snow in 12 hours. Today they're with us and the snow is melting as fast as it came down. We're about 120 inches below last years snow fall at this point. It's like spring around here. Today there was a fog all day hanging over the melting snow.
It's awful warm here too near Albany. All the snow is gone, and the ice has broken up on most of the lakes south of the Adirondack park too. We had our Mad Bass Invitational ice fishing GTG scheduled for this weekend and had to cancel due to unsafe ice conditions. Now I just hope that the groundhog was wrong, and things start to really warm up so I can get the boat out early.

I've played 4 times since the first of the year here in Nebraska, could have played a lot more than that. We've had 6-8 days in the 60s here hit 70 on Monday, I'm loving global warming!
Well it's been nice to be able to practice outside this winter. Beats the heck out of banging balls into a net or from simulators. I actually went out and mowed one of my greens so I could practice some putting too.
