So I went out in my climber today and it was a strong wind so I knew there wasn't going to be very much deer in the field. I set my climber up on the edge of a field where a buddy of mine said the bucks have been coming out of. I rattled and grunted aggressively. I sat for maybe an hour when I looked over and there was a big 10 point running from a finger of timber straight towards me with 4 does behind it. He stopped 30 yards away and turned broadside but I had no shot due to branches. It waited for a couple seconds and then bolted across my shooting lane and stopped behind a pine tree down wind. He smelled and then turned and trotted off. I wanted to jump out of my stand at this point:violin: Do you think I can get him back there tomorrow or should I try a different spot? All help is appreciated.

I had a similar situation happen. tried a different spot down the field from my original spot and then saw that buck i wanted hanging out at the base of the stand at my original spot. I guess it could have gone either way. its really up to you and how the bucks pattern where you are hunting

I've never seen this buck before but I think I might sit in the same spot just to be safe. Thanks!
