Checked a couple cams this past weekend. I was really looking forward to this one setup covering a great creek crossing. I open the Covert MP6 and slide the switch down to the off button........ One click not two! I left it on setup for almost two weeks.
Well here is the creek crossing setup along with a couple pics. Still pretty slow on movement the past couple weeks.

Great pics! I can oh so relate to your frustration this year with cam mistakes. I've had three of those already since spring:D

    Great pics!

Oh and thanks for planting the thought in my mind that I may not have turned my cam on after pulling and resetting it yesterday!! Grrrrrrrr. Haha

Sorry to hear about the camera left off, I have started saying aloud when I shut the camera door..."there's the red light" sounds lame but it helps me. Nice pics on the rest.

Bummer about the cam! I made sure it was on like 5 times when I set my first cam up on Thursday. Nice pics though.

Can't say I've never done that myself! I've also been guilty of not putting an SD card in the camera, and one time I took out the old batteries then replaced them with the same old batteries on accident. Camera started up enough to tell it was on, then died about 2 days after I left it. Whoops.

Luckily this hasn't happened to me yet. After reading all the threads about people forgetting I check my cams about 10 times before I leave

I HATE when that happens, or when you forget to turn it on. One of the most annoying things in the world

Nice pics:) sux about forgetting to turn the one on tho. I'm bad with that kind of thing I have a bit of OCD and things like that drive me nuts recently I walked about a half mile back to the truck turn around and go back in the woods to check to make sure it was on. I'm going to make a checklist to take with me from now on

I have a camera I finally retired. Took C batteries and I got burnt a few times when sticking another card in it. It didn't have a battery strength indicator and a few times would take 2 or 3 pictures on the second card change then go dead. Sadly the 2 or 3 pictures would be of me leaving the area.

I have hauled a 5 gal bucket of corn a 1/4 mile or more a few times only to realize I forgot to bring the camera when going in to set the spot up. That one torques me off and I will cuss all the way back to the truck. Usually I am in a rush to get in and out so no sees me as we have a few snoops around here.

Forgot to turn a camera on once.

    nice pictures.

I can relate. I think I have a small case of OCD. Latch the camera, then I stare at the red light, and walk away. Usually about 50 yards out I think "did I latch the second latch on the camera", so back I go to check on it. Then I have to see if it took a picture.

With my self diagnosed OCD disorder I cant say I have left it in set up mode on any of my cameras.

I would be frustrated though if I ended up leaving the cam on set up mode when I come back a few weeks later.
