Who will be out on stand Thursday Morning? How has your past success been hunting Thanksgiving or the following weekend? The big boys could be out looking for the remaining estrus doe's around this time (depending on your location)....have you experienced this in past years?
I will be out hunting until 11am or so at a friend's place. I am just happy not be working, and whatever happens, happens on Thanksgiving. I will be happy to see the sun rise and be free.
Family obligations will keep me out of the tree Thursday (most likely). I hope to be in the tree Friday in the am, all day Saturday and Sunday
I would like to hunt turkey day and i can if would like to,but if something would to go wrong, ya know take a fall in the woods or whatever, and need a rescue i would never here the end of it. mans got to know his limitations.:D
Ill be out nice and early for a few hours in the a.m only. I cannot wait have no clue what is in store.
I will be in my stand before daylight and hunt until I feel good. Our kids are coming for Thanksgiving dinner on Saturday since they are both in the food service business and have to work on Thursday. Works for me. Good luck to all and God Bless!!

Killed my best buck on Thanksgiving. I'll be on stand ALL DAY, cuz I've got off from work, school and my knee is so f'd up that I can't ride right now Good luck to all. We're entering a magical few weeks to be in the woods !!
Our season is not in over thanksgiving, and there ain't a snowballs chance I'd attempt to drive over to ohio for a couple hour sit.
never hunted Thurs morning, but love that weekend - a couple of the biggest bucks I've seen from stand have been Saturday after thanksgiving...hope I get out.
I won't make It out this year, I'll be hauling milk. Hunting during Thanksgiving has been a tradition for many years up until 10 years ago when I bought the milk hauling business from my parents. I sure miss It!! I work during all the holidays and give my full time driver them days off. Best of luck to you all who will be hunting. I envy you all and wish I was out with my dad like we always used to.
i usually do a every year Rabbit hunt...actually i just shot my first pheasant last year, thanksgiving morning.....My father, couple buddies, and myself go out to different places we have permission to hunt! Look out Roger ....Im coming for you.. Bambi and the bow have the morning off!!
I'll be hunting in the morning. Not real sure what the wife has in mind... but sounds like it is turkey for dinner so far so I should get out for an afternoon hunt also. Tim
