I'll be heading to the Virginia/Kentucky border to Breaks Interstate park. We rented a REALLY nice log cabin there. My wife's property is 10 minutes down the road on the VA side. My 14 year old nephew has expressed an interest in hunting so I'll have the pellet rifle, .22 mag, .410, .12ga, recurves bows and compound bow. Squirrel, coyote, deer, turkey, elk and (I'll have to check), maybe bear.
The ATV's will be the icing on the cake.
Good food, good family and good times.

Well we're back home, let the unpacking begin.
Too much food, too little time. I did get to take my 14 year old nephew squirrel hunting but I NEVER saw a place so devoid of game. We hit the woods at 3:00 PM and never saw the first squirrel, not even tweety birds. He did get to shoot the pellet rifle, then the .22 WMR, then the .410. We took a short ATV ride but his dad was corralled to do some family business in town and couldn't join us. I think he was upset at that. He wanted time with his boy because his job takes him to live in Calgary & Edmonton, CA.
