4:00 Thanksgiving dinner, or as soon as the Grandson wakes up from his nap.

I'll be up cooking at 7am Thanksgiving morning. We will have lunch and then go rabbit hunting for a couple hours. Kind of a tradition to get out after lunch and kick a few brush piles... Good excercise after a big meal and always a lot of fun!

If you want to smoke it, spatchcock it. It will cook quicker and more evenly.

My next door neighbor is a 160 acre WMA... Has a 60 acre lake surrounded by pine thickets brambles, and over grown fields.. makes for a nice walk with the Browning in tow.. Son in-law seems to enjoy the rabbit hunt more than tanking in the recliner after a belly stretcher meal!

I'm curious if I'm alone in this... To me, nothing is grosser on the holidays (Thanksgiving/Christmas) than going over to someone's house for dessert, and smelling the food they just ate, turkey/ham. LOL Anyone else?

How close do you have to get your nose to smell the food that they've already eaten? WTF!!

My wife has a thing about house smells. Could be a delicious meal but the next day she does not want to smell it. Part of the reason I cook the turkey in the roaster in the garage instead of the house, that and proximity to the beer fridge.
