Right before Russ signed off for a bit, he was nice enough to have the "Pass-a-Round" sent my way for a try...and answer all my questions about long bows, custom bows, etc....I still hope there's a way for Russ to get to Elk Camp!

My experience with Trad gear is a small recurve I "play" around with some, always enjoy just shooting. I have to say this Yarra pass-a-around long bow surprised me on just how smooth it is to draw and shoot. The consistency I get with that bow is what makes me want to have one someday. I have always shot split finger, but for some reason I tried 3 under with this long bow and it really seemed to help...might be switching...

Thought I'd share a couple pics my wife took...

Here is the result of the 3 arrows I shot while pics were taken...bow is very consistent...don't think it would take long for me to dial it in (at 10 yards that is :D)

My favorite part about shooting around...is that the boys now ask to join me with their bow.

Here's my 6 yr old just letting an arrow fly (yes, that's a lightning bolt on his face - school picnic that day)

Any my 4 yr old who has really made progress this year being strong enough to now hold the bow at full draw

I've helped my 2yr old daughter shoot a couple arrows...won't be long for her ;)

    Thanks again to Russ!

Yep, that's one great bow, I had her in the woods a few different times! Russ is one of the good guys! That's pretty awesome how your boys want to shoot their longbows with dad now! Take em to a traditional shoot and just watch how much fun they have, actually how much fun the whole family will have! Good times!
