This past summer I noticed that my Primos Truth Cam 35 was buring thru batteries within a week. At first I thought it was a fluke so I burned thru another (2) sets of size D batteries to convince me. Well, after 3 sets of batteries (12 of them) I decided to contact the company. They asked me to send back the camera to them so they could check it out. Within 1.5 weeks of shipping my camera out to them I received a brand new camera in a box from UPS yesterday from Primos!!

The camera was already past the 1 year warranty, but they still supported their product! This was great news to me as this has been my favorite trail cam...even better than my Moultries and Cuddeback Capture!! Thank you Primos!

This is a way to sell a product, customer service. I was considering one of their cameras and I am sold. Thanks for your feedback.

Primos customer service is awesome. I have had a couple things that needed replaced (my fault), and was expecting to pay for them, but Primos just sent them to me for free.

Wow. That is some good information. My year old Truthcam 46 just took a dump and I thought I was screwed. As soon as I get it from my cabin I'll be sure to try to get it fixed. Thanks for letting us know about their support.

Will be putting out the new camera this weekend, but not checking it until 10/13 so it will be around 3 weeks to check the quality of this one. I am expecting nothing by a ton of pics!!

Thanks for the news of the customer service, I have 2 46's and love them, still trying to find out how long the 4 d cells will last. Tried 5 weeks the 1st time out and no problem ,am at 7 weeks and will check them in 2 more weeks. The colder weather might affect them a bit.

My Primos cameras do pretty good in the summer, and in the winter the battery life is not near what it was in summer. But then again, I use Rayovac batteries, and it takes up to 300 pictures in one night sometimes

And a week after my 46 died, my brand new blackout died. I got in touch with Primos today and they already sent a paid return label for the blackout.

There isn't much that I can do with the 46 b/c I never registered it, but I'm happy they're doing the right thing with the blackout.

I would format all SD cards 1st you would be surprised at what that does. I format my cards every time they go in any cams.

Format the cards as in clear them completely. Not just delete files from them but erase everything. You can do it though a PC or the cam itself.

As far as their support, they didn't request a receipt just serial number etc. My Truthcam 46 was doing the same SD full thing even after I formatted the card and switched it with a brand new card. No luck at all. Now the cam just doesn't respond at all.

You're best bet may be to call them and speak to some one. They were very helpful when I called.

I will do that this evening then thanks, cuz yeah I clear all the cards in my computer in the field because I get up to 500 pics a night sometimes, awesome cameras though I must say. How does the 35 compare to the 46?

I'll be checking my camera that I recieved back from Primos around one week from today or tomorrow when I am back at that property (2.5 hours away). I probably should have tested it around here first, but I was so impressed with the 35 (until this issue) that I just took it to the property right off the "bat". I have it placed near a trail that is not heavily used by a lot of deer, but the buck sign is annually really good. Hopefully, I remember to update this post when I retrieve the camera and/or SD card.

I just started getting the SD FULL error on my 60 a couple weeks ago. I'm past one year, can't remember if I registered or not. It worked perfectly the first 2-3 sets I ran this fall then 0 pictures with SD FULL error.

EDIT: Ok so I just called Primos and while on the line waiting I reformated the cards I have on my PC instead of in the camera... it seems to have maybe worked. I stayed on the line and talked to the rep and he assured me if I get it back out in the field and continue to have problems to give them a call and and they will make it right.
