    If there is any bright spot, it's that you made the right decision. There wasn't a unanimous decision made for my grandfather and what we witnessed him go through was pure torture as a result of not making that decision.

    She's in a better place now.

    She had made it very clear that if it ever happened, she did not want to be kept alive by a machine.

    Make sure you have these kinds of discussions with loved ones. It makes it easier when put in that situation.

    Amen to that. Had to do the same thing with my Father. His wishes were very clear also, and it does make a terrible situation a little easier. Again, sorry for your loss.
