I had the pleasure of meeting one of our fellow members this evening. I met Dustin (Dubbya) for dinner at Chili's a little earlier tonight. We shared a few stories and stuffed our faces with some fine cuisine. We immediatly sat down and started talking like we already knew each other, but that isn't really suprising. Besides talking bowhunting (which is a given:d), I am also pursuing the same degree and career that he has already obtained. So, we had plenty of common ground to talk about. We even sat and chatted for like 20 minutes after the check came. He was even nice enough to pick up the tab, so I owe you one man I also want to add what a patient guy he can be. Thanks to my horrible direction-taking skills I went to 2 different Chili's before finding the right one. He still greeted me with a smile even though I left him hanging by himself at the restaurant for 30 minutes or so. He's a great guy, and I enjoyed getting to sit around and BS a little. I had a great time man, I look forward to meeting up with you again in the future .
Think the Mo's will be gunning for that title again next year! They clearly owned it after the first get together!!! Dub's ripped it away from them!
Sounds like a fun time. What are you going for? I hope not public speaking, or anything that has to do with giving directions:d
It's not giving directions that I have a problem with. It's understanding them. When I start hearing street names and distances my mind goes blank I am majoring in Construction Management
Hey no problem buddy I enjoyed it... Hopefully next time we'll be eating backstraps. If you would have bought that GPS in Norman, it wouldn't have given you any problems:d :d :d Your delay gave me time to have a couple beers and meet the wait staff
I'll just continue to claim that Chili's is not on my GPS Construction Management is basically learning the field of construction, and how to manage it. I don't know how to put it any better. You learn how to run job sites, keep things flowing on projects, take care of problems...just how to deal with all the things that go into construction projects. Most people with a degree in CM go on to be project managers, superintendents, supervisors, field engineers, etc. Atleast, I think that's right:d
Did you buy him some flowers? Dub seems like a great guy, Im goin to have to chase him around the mtns one of these days out west and try to pick up some things on western hunting. No comment on the 3 chilis, LMAO, how many miles did you burn? Atleast it wasnt last summer when gas was +$4...
