I dont' regret anything. I had to do what I had to do ... however that had to happen. I didn't have time to wait another day wondering about the situation. Couldve been avoided if he was a man and came to me face to face. Had to make a move. I don't think my value system was affected. There are far more horrible things these days. I was just curious if others run into this more these days than the days of old when handshakes and face to face meetings meant more.

I think the texting has taken over because it is the quicker way to get a response or answers to questions. While I still do prefer the traditional way of doing things, it does have it's advantages. I could be in a meeting and answer other questions at the same time and make decisions that people are waiting on.

Though not the best way to do things, I don't think its that big a deal either. Sometimes you just fall into the situation without meaning to. I broke up with a girl thru text, that eventually turned into a call, I wasn't planning to, but she pushed the issue before we had a chance to make plans before I could tell her straight up. I got laid off one time on a day I was off work (scheduled in advance). Just os happened that was the day of the downsizing. My boss called & left me a message to call him immediately because he didnt want me finding out from anyone but him.
